  • After the 12th month, you will continue to enjoy 1.66 % gross p.a. as long as you increase your average balance consecutively by P20,000 monthly, or maintain an account balance of P5,000,000.

    • In case you miss to increase your average balance consecutively by at least P20,000 from the 13th month and onwards, the applicable interest goes back to the 6th month rate of 1.18% gross p.a.

How It Works

Citi® Bonus Saver Account is a savings account that pays base interest of 0.70% gross p.a. and bonus interest if your average balance grows month-on-month by at least P20,000. You can earn as much as 1.66% gross p.a. total interest after 12 consecutive months of growing your average balance.

Your Bonus Saver Account earns interest in two ways:

  1. Base Interest of 0.70% gross p.a. is earned if your account balance is at least P50,000.
  2. Bonus Interest of 0.08% gross p.a. is earned if your account meets the following conditions:

    1. The account balance is at least P50,000.
    2. The current month's average balance is consistently higher than the previous month's average balance by at least P20,000.
    3. Fulfilling the criteria stated in (i) and (ii) for each consecutive month for the next 12 months will translate into a 0.08% gross p.a. on the bonus interest.
    4. Bonus counter has a cap of 12 increments or a maximum bonus interest rate of 0.96% p.a., provided that the criteria set out in (i), (ii) and (iii) are met.
    5. Bonus Interest will be credited to the Citi® Bonus Saver Account on the last calendar day of the month.
    6. The base and bonus rates are subject to change upon prior notice.
