Your actual amortizations will be reflected in the loan disclosure statement. A disbursement fee of P1,750 shall apply. Documentary stamp tax at P1.50 per P200 of your loan amount may also apply.

Example: If you borrow a loan of P50,000, payable in 12 monthly installments, at an applicable annual contractual rate of 26.9%, with the disbursement fee of P1,750 and documentary stamp tax of P0, the total loan repayment amount will be P59,331.17.

Eligibility and Required Documents
  • You are at least 21 to 65 years old.

  • You are a Filipino resident or a local resident foreigner with a valid Philippine billing address.

  • You have a Tax Payer's Identification Number (TIN).

  • You are a principal credit cardholder.

  • Have a minimum gross annual income of Php 250,000.

One (1) valid government-issued ID with photo and signature.

For employed: Latest 1 month full pay slip

For self-employed: Latest Income Tax Return (BIR Form 1701); and Audited Financial Statements (AFS) of the business with independent auditor's report and balance sheets and tax receipt

Please submit a photocopy of either of the following:

  1. Valid passport or ACR, AND

  2. Any of the following proofs of local residency:

    • a. Immigrant Certificate of Residency (ICR)

    • c. Visa and Work Permit/Alien Employment Permit (AEP) with validity of more than 1 year

    • d. Special Resident Investors (SRIV)

    • e. Special Resident Retirement Visa (SRRV)

    • f. For Top 2000 companies, employment contract or letter from Company HR printed on company letterhead with name, position, and confirmation of term.

  • Can I assign someone else to receive my Citi® Personal Loan proceeds on my behalf?

    For your security, loan proceeds will only be released to the loan applicant.

  • How do I receive my Citi® Personal Loan proceeds?
    1. Choose your preferred mode of disbursement:

      • Credit to your Nominated Bank Account or

      • Delivery of a Managers Check to your billing address.

    2. Review and sign the Loan Disclosure Statement (DS).

    3. Prepare post dated checks (PDCs) to cover the monthly installments as per the schedule in the DS.

    4. Loan proceeds will be released upon Citi's receipt of the signed DS and PDCs.

  • How long does it take for my Citi® Personal Loan application to be processed?

    A Citi® Personal Loan application can be processed in as fast as 24 hours. Just make sure that your documents are complete when you submit these.

  • How will I know if my Citi® Personal Loan application has been approved?

    Once approved, you will receive a call from Citi to arrange your mode of disbursement. You may also contact our CitiPhone for the status of your application.

  • What is Citi Personal Loan?

    Citi personal loan is a type of unsecured loan that you can apply for with minimum documentation to fund your personal needs. Once you get a personal loan approved, the amount will be credited to your account which you can use to finance your requirements. You can repay the amount via monthly EMIs.

  • What is the difference between secured and unsecured loans?

    A secured loan is a type of loan where you need to pledge an asset such as your home, land, etc., as a form of repayment option or security to the bank. An unsecured loan, such as a personal loan, is a loan where you do not have to submit any asset as security.

  • Who can apply for a Citi Personal Loan?

    Salaried individuals and self-employed professionals can apply for a Citi personal loan. Also, to get a Citi personal loan you must fall in the age group of 21 to 65 years old.

  • How to apply for Citi Personal Loan online?

    To apply for a Citi personal loan online, you must download the application form on the Citibank website. You can fill in the details and submit the form along with all the required documents

  • How is your personal loan interest calculated?

    Personal loan interest is calculated on the unpaid daily balance of your loan. It is also charged to the loan per month. The interest rate applied each day is equal to your annual interest rate at the time, divided by 365.

  • When do I have to start making payments for my personal loan?

    Your first EMI will start from the second succeeding month after you get a personal loan. For example, the EMIs for a loan booked in January would begin from 1st March.
