  1. DINE AND SHOP AT AYALA MALLS – INSTANT GRAT PROMO (“Promo”) is open to all Citi Visa Cardholders (“Cardholder”), whose Credit Cards (“Cards”) have been issued by Citibank, N.A. Philippine Branch, are active and in good Credit standing, and who are not prohibited under applicable Gifts, AntiBribery and Corruption laws, regulations, and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo.

  2. The Promo entitles the Cardholder to the following benefits:

  8. For verification purposes, Cardholder must present the following:
    1. Citi Visa Credit Card used for the transaction
    2. Official Receipt issued by the merchant
    3. Charge slip issued by the merchant
  9. Once verified, the Credit Cardholder will receive an SMS from Giftaway containing the eGift code that they can use at any participating Giftaway (https://giftaway.ph/) merchant
  10. Only one eGift can be provided per Cardholder per mall per day:
    1. The prize will be issued as a code that is unique to the customer’s transaction.
    2. The code is for 1-time use only.
    3. The code is transferable but non-refundable, not convertible to cash, nor is it exchangeable and replaceable at any circumstances.
  11. Only official receipts issued on the same day are eligible for redemption. Defaced, crumpled, tampered or receipts that are less than ¾ of its actual size will not be honored.
  12. Cancellation of purchases results in cancellation of the equivalent prize earned.
  13. The eGift code/s must only be given to the store, delivery hotline personnel, or claimed via app/website once the Cardholder commits to use it. The Giftaway code/s are for one-time use only until October 30, 2023.
  14. All terms and conditions relating to the eGift as indicated in the Giftaway website shall apply.
  15. All Giftaway eGifts which are unredeemed or unused by October 30, 2023 shall be forfeited in favor of UnionBank.
  16. EGifts are not valid in conjunction with other discounts, offers, privileges, or promotions.
  17. EGifts are transferable but not convertible to cash, cash advance, or kind. The eGift may be transferred to the Cardholder’s nominated recipient who is able to satisfy the requirements for the claiming of the eGift.
  18. The redemption of the eGifts are final. The Cardholder is responsible for inspecting the redemption conditions, selected item/s, participating outlets, and expiry dates of the eGifts upon redemption. The Cardholder will also be responsible for providing the correct information (mobile number where eGift codes will be sent) and for safekeeping the eGift. UnionBank and the participating branches of Giftaway shall not be obliged to change, refund or replace the eGift once redeemed, whether lost, deleted, or for whatever reason.
  19. A Cardholder will be disqualified from the Promo in the event that his/her Citi Visa Credit Card/s is unpaid, become/s delinquent, or is suspended, cancelled, or terminated, before the awarding of the eGift.
  20. The Cardholder agrees that should his/her redemption be found to be fraudulent in nature or should his/her earning of the eGift found to be a result of splitting of transactions, UnionBank shall have the right to charge the total face value of the eGift to the Cardholder’s Citi Visa Credit Card.
  21. UnionBank is not an agent of Giftaway, Ayala Malls, and any Giftaway merchant and makes no representation as to the quality of the goods and services provided. All feedback regarding the quality of the goods and services provided should be directed to Giftaway, and/or Ayala Malls and any Giftaway merchant.
  22. By accepting and/or using the eGift, the Cardholder agrees to hold UnionBank free and harmless from any loss, injury, or damage caused by or arising from his/her participation in the Promo or caused by or arising from his/her acceptance and/or use of the eGift.
  23. In case of dispute regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, etc., UnionBank’s decision will prevail, with concurrence of DTI. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any request will be resolved by UnionBank.
  24. Fraud, abuse or any unauthorized action relating to the Credit Card transaction, the participation in the Promo, or redemption of the eGift may result in the disqualification of the Cardholder from the Promo, suspension or cancellation of Card privileges or the charging of the cost of the eGift to the Cardholder’s Citi Visa Credit Card, at UnionBank’s discretion. This shall be without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken by UnionBank.
  25. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, privileges or VIP cards. EGifts are not exchangeable for or convertible to cash, Credit or other goods and services nor allowed as payment for the Card dues.
  26. Any amendment in the terms and conditions governing the Promo is subject to prior DTI approval.
  27. By availing the Promo offer, the Cardholder is responsible for providing his/her personal information and other information that may be required, to Ayala Malls and Giftaway, and agrees that such information shall be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy and security terms of Ayala Malls and Giftaway.

  2. The Promo is open to Principal Cardholders of Citi Visa Credit Cards (“Card”) that have been locally issued by by Citibank, N.A. Philippine Branch, are active and in good Credit standing with available relationship limit and account Credit limit/ spend limit, as applicable, at the time of purchase and conversion; who have a registered valid and updated unique mobile number and unique email address with UnionBank; who received an SMS and/or email from UnionBank regarding this particular promo offer; and who are not prohibited under applicable Gifts, Anti-Bribery and Corruption laws, regulations, and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo (“Cardholder”). Incumbent government officials or employees, whether elected or appointed, corporate accounts and US persons (i.e., a citizen or lawful resident, green card holder of the United States of America) are not eligible to participate in this Promo.
  3.   8. For verification purposes, Cardholder must present the following:

  9. If the customer is qualified, a confirmation email with the redemption details will be sent to the customer’s email address within forty-eight (48) hours upon registration to the promo.
  10. There is no limit to the number of raffle entries that a participant may earn as long as the corresponding purchase is made. A participant earns a valid raffle entry only upon confirmation of the purchase transaction.
  11. Cancellation of ticket purchases results in cancellation of the equivalent raffle entries earned.
  12. By registering for the Promo, the Cardholder:
    1. is responsible for providing his/her personal information and other information that may be required by Ayala Malls, the third party managing the site for UnionBank, and agrees that any information provided in the Promo website will be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy, and security terms of Ayala Malls
    2. agrees to receive SMS/text messages or e-mails in relation to the Promo, such as but not limited to SMS or e-mails confirming earning of raffle entries upon completion of qualified transactions.
    3. acknowledges that he/she has read, understood, and agrees, to the Promo’s Terms and Conditions; and
    4. authorizes UnionBank, in case he/she wins, to disclose and publish his/her name and other particulars, as a winner, to any person/s and in any mode or manner as UnionBank may deem appropriate, including announcing the winners on the UnionBank Facebook page or via other channels.
  13. Three winners per mall will receive P100,000 cash credits on their Citi Visa Credit Card.
  14. Prizes will be awarded randomly via electronic raffle draw.
  15. Cut-off for earning raffle entries is on August 31, 2023 at mall closing.
  16. Drawing of winners:
    1. Raffle draw will be done on September 5, 2023 (Tuesday), at 2PM via MS Teams and in the presence of DTI representative.
    2. Announcement of winners will be done on or before September 15, 2023.
    3. Winners will be notified by email, telephone call, and registered mail.
  17. The prizes are subject to the following conditions:
    1. Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash.
    2. P100,000 cash credits will be awarded to the winners’ Credit Cards within five (5) business days after they have provided the following:
      1. Two (2) valid Government-issued identification card with photo and signature (e.g. Driver’s License, Unified ID, Passport)
      2. Notice sent via electronic mail and/or phone number
      3. Card name and card number
    3. The P100,000 cash credit will be valid as long as the Credit Card is active and the Cardholder has a good credit standing.
    4. Redemption of the prize is until 60 days from receipt of notification, otherwise, prizes will be forfeited in favor of UnionBank with prior DTI approval.
  18. Winners agree to the disclosure and publication of their names and other particulars as UnionBank arrangements made by UnionBank and Ayala Malls to announce the winners to the general public
  19. Employees of UnionBank of the Philippines, Ayala Malls, their merchants, maintenance and security agencies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity, are not eligible to join the promo.
  20. Fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action on the participation in the promo may result in the disqualification of the customer from the promo according to UnionBank and Ayala Malls’ discretion with concurrence of DTI.
  21. In case of dispute regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, etc., UnionBank and Ayala Malls decision will prevail, with of DTI. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any request will be resolved by UnionBank
  22. Fraud, abuse or any unauthorized action relating to the Credit Card transaction, or the participation in the Promo, may result in the disqualification of the Cardholder from the Promo, suspension or cancellation of Card privileges or the charging of the cost of the bonus rebates to the Cardholder’s Citi Visa Credit Card, at UnionBank’s discretion. This shall be without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken by UnionBank.
