Citibank, N.A., Philippine Branch, has transferred ownership of its consumer banking business to Union Bank of the Philippines with effect from August 1, 2022. The trademarks “Citi”, “Citibank”, “Citigroup”, the Arc design and all similar trademarks and derivations thereof are used temporarily under license by Union Bank of the Philippines from Citigroup Inc. and related group entities.

PROMO MECHANICS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Citibank’s Online Sale with Grab

1. Eligibility
   1. The promo (“Promo”) is open to all principal and supplementary Citi Cardholders (“Cardholder”) whose credit cards have been issued by Citibank, N.A. (Visa only), or its successor and assign, UnionBank of the Philippines (hereafter, all references to Citibank, N.A. Philippine Branch is understood to be references to UnionBank of the Philippines), have available credit limit; who received an SMS and/or email from Citibank regarding the particular promo requirement; and who are not prohibited under applicable Gifts, Anti-Bribery and Corruption laws, regulations, and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo (“Cardholder”).
   2. Incumbent government officials or employees, whether elected or appointed, corporate account and US persons (i.e., a citizen or lawful resident, green card holder of the United States of America) are not eligible to participate in this Promo.
2. The Promo will run from May 24 to June 30, 2023. ("Promo Period"). All transactions must be made within the Promo Period to avail of the Promo.
3. The Promo entitles the Cardholders the below offers:
   1. GrabFood: 25% off, minimum spend Php 700, discount capped at Php 180, valid for 1X use (capped at 15,000 vouchers only)
   2. GrabCar: 40% off, discount capped at Php 130, valid for 2X use (capped at 10,000 vouchers only)
4. To avail of the Promo
   1. The cardholder must add their Citi Visa credit card as their primary payment method
   2. For GrabFood:
      1. Add food items from a GrabFood merchant in the cardholder’s basket then proceed to checkout
      2. Click on “Use Offers to get discounts”
      3. Type or choose “VISA25”
      4. Place Order once discount is reflected
   3. For GrabCar:
      1. Book their destination under the Car option
      2. Click on “Offers”
      3. Type or choose “VISA40”
      4. Book GrabCar once discount is reflected
5. Promo code can be availed by using the promo code VISA25 (GrabFood) and VISA40 (GrabCar: GrabCar 4-Seater, GrabCar 6-Seater, and GrabShare bookings)
6. Discount is valid on GrabCar and GrabFood transactions only.
7. No extension will be given for an expired discount code.
8. All purchases are subject to terms and conditions of Grab and the Citi Card Agreement.
9. The Promo offer is not exchangeable for cash, credit or other goods and services.
10. Any issue on the actual purchase should be directed and will be resolved by Grab. For any concerns/inquiries regarding the promo, please contact Grab’s Help Centre
11. Citibank is not an agent of Grab and makes no representation as to the quality of the goods and services provided. All feedback regarding quality of the goods and services provided should be directed to Grab.
12. In case of dispute with respect to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, and fulfilment, Citibank’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo shall be resolved by Citibank with the concurrence of DTI.
13. Fraud, abuse or any unauthorized action relating to the credit card transaction or the participation in the Promo may result in the disqualification of the Customer from the Promo, or suspension or cancellation of the Card privileges at Citibank’s discretion. This shall be without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken by Citibank.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Promo (“Promo”) will run from May 24, 2023 to June 30, 2023 (“Promo Period”):
   1. Spend Period: May 24, 2023 to June 30, 2023
   2. Announcement of winners: July 7, 2023
2. The Promo is open to Principal or supplementary credit cardholders of Citibank N.A. (Visa and Mastercard), or its successor and assign, UnionBank of the Philippines (hereafter, all references to Citibank, N.A. Philippine Branch is understood to be references to UnionBank of the Philippines), on active status and with good credit standing, with available relationship limit and account credit limit/ spend limit, as applicable, at the time of purchase and conversion; who have a registered valid and updated unique mobile number and unique email address with Citibank; who received an SMS and/or email from Citibank regarding this particular promo offer; and who are not prohibited under applicable Gifts, Anti-Bribery and Corruption laws, regulations, and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo (“Cardholder”).
   

   Incumbent government officials or employees, whether elected or appointed, corporate accounts and US persons (i.e., a citizen or lawful resident, green card holder of the United States of America) are not eligible to participate in this Promo.

3. It is the responsibility of the Cardholder to update his/her contact information with Citibank. Cardholders whose contact information in Citibank’s records are not updated, who have the same mobile/phone number or email address as another cardholder/account in Citibank records, or who have opted out of receiving marketing communications from Citi based on Citibank’s records, and new Cardholders (whose credit card account was opened and activated from May 1, 2023 onwards) will not receive the communication about the Promo.
4. Officers and employees of Citibank Philippine Branch, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity, or of its advertising and PR agencies, and of its third party and service providers with direct involvement in the generation of winners, are not eligible to participate in the Promo.
5. Promo Qualification:
   1. To qualify for the Promo (“Promo”), the Cardholder must purchase at Grab using their Citibank credit card to pay.
   2. The cardholder is entitled to one raffle coupon when they spend using his/her Citibank credit card at Grab with the below conditions:
      1. GrabPay: for every cash-in
      2. GrabMart: for every transaction
      3. GrabCar: for every ride (GrabCar: GrabCar 4-Seater, GrabCar 6-Seater, and GrabShare bookings)
      4. GrabFood: for every transaction
      5. GrabExpress: for every ride
   3. To join the promo, the cardholder must
      1. Add their Citi credit card as the primary payment method in the Grab application
      2. Use their Citi credit card for every transaction in Grab
   4. Only 1 (one) raffle entry per single transaction per participant may be earned for each corresponding purchase. A participant earns a valid raffle entry only upon confirmation of the purchase transaction.
   5. Cancellation of ticket purchases results in cancellation of the equivalent raffle entries earned.
   6. By joining the Promo, the Cardholder:
      1. is responsible for providing his/her personal information and other information that may be required by Grab, the third party managing the site for Citibank, and agrees that any information provided in the Promo website will be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy, and security terms of Grab.
      2. agrees to receive SMS/text messages or e-mails in relation to the Promo, such as but not limited to SMS or e-mails confirming earning of raffle entries upon completion of qualified transactions
      3. acknowledges that he/she has read, understood, and agrees, to the Promo’s Terms and Conditions; and
      4. authorizes Citibank, in case he/she wins, to disclose and publish his/her name and other particulars, as a winner, to any person/s and in any mode or manner as Citibank may deem appropriate, including announcing the winners on the Citibank Facebook page or via other channels.
6. Prize of winners: 7 winners each of the below
   1. Free GrabCar for a year: 730 vouchers of P300 off on rides (GrabCar: GrabCar 4-Seater, GrabCar 6-Seater, and GrabShare bookings)
   2. P10,000 GrabPay Credits
   3. Free GrabFood Delivery Fee for a year: 365 vouchers of P500 off on total GrabFood bill
   4. Free GrabMart Service Fee for a year: 365 vouchers of P500 off on total GrabMart bill
7. Prize winners will be randomly selected during the Raffle Draw event, which will be held within 5-7 business days after the end of the promo duration and pending DTI confirmation on Raffle Draw date.
8. Announcement of winners - Winners will be publicly announced via social media. The winners will also be notified via in-app notification. Announcement will happen two (2) working days after the raffle draw.
9. On prize claiming – Prizes will be awarded digitally to each winner’s Grab account within three (3) business days from the announcement of winners.
10. Cut-off for earning raffle entries is June 30, 2023, 11:59 PM.
11. Drawing of winners:
    1. Raffle draw will be done on July 7, 2023
    2. Announcement of winners will be done via social media and in-app notification.
    3. Winners will be notified by email, telephone call or registered mail.
    4. Prizes will be awarded digitally to each winner’s Grab account within three (3) business days from announcement of winners.
    5. The prizes are subject to the following conditions:
       1. All prizes are transferable but not convertible to cash.
       2. The winners shall shoulder the 20% tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00 and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize. Prizes not claimed after sixty (60) days from receipt of notification will be forfeited in favor of the participating merchant partner, with prior approval of DTI.
       3. Prizes shall be issued in the form of vouchers.
       4. The winner/s shall shoulder all costs they may incur in securing their prize (e.g. bus fare, taxi fare, parking, meals, etc.)
    6. Winners agree to the disclosure and publication of their names and other particulars as Citibank and Grab may deem appropriate and to participate in any photo, publicity or other media arrangements made by Citibank and the merchant partners to announce the winners to the general public.
    7. Employees of Citibank and Grab, their merchants, maintenance and security agencies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity, are not eligible to join the promo.
    8. Fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action on the participation in the promo may result in the disqualification of the customer from the promo according to Citibank and Grab’s discretion.
    9. The winner can only win once during the event.
12. In case of dispute regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, etc, Citibank and Grab’s decision will prevail, with supervision of DTI. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any request will be resolved by Citibank.
13. Fraud, abuse or any unauthorized action relating to the credit card transaction, or the participation in the Promo, may result in the disqualification of the Cardholder from the Promo, suspension or cancellation of Card privileges or the charging of the cost of the bonus rebates to the Cardholder’s Citibank Card, at or Citibank’s discretion. This shall be without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken by Citibank.
