Frequently Asked Questions

If you already have a Citibank Online account, simply input the same username and password to log in to the Citi Mobile® App.

If you don't have a Citibank Online account yet, just click on the "User Registration" link below the "Log On" button to register in Citibank Online. Just follow the steps required to create your Citibank Online account.

To log in to the Citi Mobile® App, you need to input your Citibank Online username and password. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, kindly follow these steps:

  • Visit www.citibank.com.ph using a desktop/PC or laptop.
  • Click on the "Log On" button.
  • Choose the "Forgot your Username" or "Forgot your Password" link from the Log On panel and follow the steps required.

To create your Citibank Online username and/or password, kindly follow these steps:

  • Click on the "User Registration" link in the "Log On" page of the Citi Mobile® App.
  • If you are a bank customer with an existing Citi Checking or Savings account, please choose the "Checking/Saving/Ready Credit" option and input your ATM/Debit Card number and its corresponding 4-digit PIN. Then click on "Continue".
  • If you are a credit card customer, please choose the "Credit Card" option and input the credit card number, its corresponding CVV and your date of birth. Then click on "Continue".
  • Input the One-Time PIN (OTP) that you will receive on your primary mobile number registered in our system.
  • Proceed to create your username and password.

To ensure the security of your account, please follow these requirements in creating your Citibank Online Password:

  • Must be 6 characters or more.
  • Must have at least one number and one letter.
  • Must not contain 3 or more consecutive identical characters (e.g. 111, aaa).
  • Must not contain 3 or more consecutive sequential characters (e.g. 123, abc)
  • Must not be the same as your Username.

To ensure that your username is unique and secure, please follow these requirements in creating your Citibank Online Username:

  • Must be 6 characters or more.
  • Must have at least one number and one letter.
  • Must not contain 3 or more consecutive identical characters (e.g. 111, aaa).
  • Must not contain 3 or more consecutive sequential characters (e.g. 123, abc).
  • Please choose a Username that you can easily remember.

Access your Citibank Online account anytime, anywhere. With the Citi Mobile® App, you can do the following:

  • View your account balances and transaction details.

With the Citi Mobile® App, you can:

  • Transfer funds between your accounts.
  • Transfer funds to another Citi account in the Philippines.
  • Transfer funds to another Citi account abroad.
  • Transfer funds to another bank in the Philippines.
  • Transfer funds to another bank abroad.
  • Pay your bills.

Citi Mobile® Snapshot lets you check your account balance without the hassle of signing in. Simply open the Citi Mobile® App and your balance will be displayed.

You can view your account balances and the four most recent transactions on your Citi Checking, Savings, Time Deposit and Credit Card accounts without entering your Citibank Online username and password every time. However, you still need to input your Citibank Online password at least every 30 days.

For your protection, we encourage you to add a passcode or password to your mobile device. Please note that you can disable Citi Mobile® Snapshot any time by changing your app settings.

Simply log on to your Citi Mobile® App and go to "Settings" (located on the upper left portion of the navigation menu). Click on "Enable / Disable Citi Mobile® Snapshot" and just follow the steps required.

You can view your account balances and the four most recent transactions on your Citi Checking, Savings, Time Deposit and Credit Card accounts without entering your Citibank Online username and password every time. However, you still need to input your Citibank Online password at least every 30 days.

To get more account details or to make a transaction, you will need to log in to the Citi Mobile® App.

One-Time PIN (OTP) is a unique six-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). It acts as a user authentication tool to protect your online transactions and your login credentials. You may get your OTP via SMS to your primary mobile number registered in our system, your Citibank Online Security Device, or your Citi Mobile® App.

OTP will only be sent to your primary mobile number registered in our system.

If you wish to change or update your contact details, just log on to www.citibank.com.ph or call CitiPhone at 995 9999 995 9999.

One-Time PIN via Citi Mobile® App generates OTP that you can use for both your online and mobile banking transactions. Simply download the Citi Mobile® App on your Apple and Android device for free and register your mobile device.

The Citibank Online Security Device (OSD) is a gadget that generates OTP. In just a click, you can get your PIN to access your account information or make transactions.

A unique Online Security Device is assigned per customer. Registration is required to activate the device.

This device is available for P500. To order, you can call CitiPhone at 995 9999 995 9999 or go to the Citibank branch nearest you.
