What is Citibank eStatement?

Citibank eStatement is the online version of your paper statements. You receive your bank and card statements in a password-protected file through your email. It eliminates waiting for your printed statements as well as storing and filing of these statements. You can also view your statements for the past 12 months through Citibank Online.

When do I start receiving my electronic statements?

If you enrolled in Citibank Online, your enrollment will take effect within 2 banking days. This means that if you enrolled on June 5 and your statement cycle is June 9, you will start receiving your electronic statements beginning June.

If you enrolled through other channels, your enrollment will take effect within 5 banking days. This means that if you enrolled on June 5 and your statement cycle is June 9, you will start receiving your electronic statements beginning July.

Are there any fees to avail of this service?

None. This service is free to all Citibank customers.

I have several Citibank accounts. Do I need to enroll each one separately?

Once you’re enrolled, all your other bank and card accounts will be enrolled in electronic statements. When you open a new account with Citibank, there is no need to enroll again as this will be enrolled automatically.

Would I still receive my printed statements if I am enrolled?

For your Citi card accounts, you will no longer receive your paper statements by postal mail. For your bank accounts, you will continue to receive your printed consolidated bank statements.

How do I print my eStatement?

If you need to print your statement, all you have to do is click on the printer icon on the upper left portion of the statement page.

If I would need a printed copy of my credit card statement from the bank, where can I request for one?

You may call our 24-Hour CitiPhone to request for a printed copy of your statement. This will be sent through postal mail.

STATEMENT VIEWING

Do I need a particular software to read my eStatement?

You need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or later in your computer. You can download this for free from www.adobe.com.

What is the file size of the statement?

The average file size is around 300 kilobytes.

How do I view the statement in my email?

When you receive the email from Citi eStatement (phesmail@citigroup.com), simply open the attached file and enter your password.

How do I store my electronic statements?

You may archive your electronic statements by simply saving your statements in your computer. This will allow you to file your statements and easily access them when needed.

How do I ensure that I will receive my electronic statements in my email?

It is advisable to add Citi eStatement (phesmail@citigroup.com) in your contacts to make sure that the email is not blocked by your email provider. Check the capacity of your mailbox, that there is enough space. If you are using your company email address, verify if there is a firewall that could block the email from Citibank. Most importantly, please update your email address whenever there is a change, either through Citibank Online or our 24-Hour CitiPhone.

How do I change my email address?

You may change your email address by signing on to Citibank Online and following these steps:

  1. Click on Online Services
  2. Click on Manage Electronic Statement
  3. Click on Change Enrollment Details
  4. Enter your new email address

What is my electronic statement password?

If you enrolled through Citibank Online, your password is what you have created at the time of enrollment. If you enrolled through other channels, you will use the default password, which is your date of birth and the last four digits of your card in the format MMDDYYYYnnnn.

To illustrate:
Your birthday: March 10, 1975
Your Citi Card number: 1000 1000 1000 1234
Your default password: 031019751234

How do I change my electronic statement password?

You may login to Citibank Online to change your electronic statement password:

  1. Click on Online Services
  2. Click on Manage Electronic Statement
  3. Click on Change Enrollment Details
  4. Enter and confirm your new password

What if I forgot my password?

You may login to Citibank Online to change your electronic statement password. Your new password will take effect on the next statement. In the meantime, you may sign on to Citibank Online to view your statement.
